    Among them, Li 2 O is about 1.5%, and BeO is 0.04% or more. The ore dressing plant in the area has adopted different processes. In the 1950s, heavy medium beneficiation and reverse flotation were adopted, and then changes were made. Since the 1970s, the ore dressing plant in the mining area has gradually adopted a positive flotation process.

    1. Jinsishan reverse flotation process

    The reverse flotation process of the Jinsishan Concentrator is to add dextrin or starch to the spodumene in the alkaline medium caused by lime, and use the cationic collector to float the silicate-like gangue mineral. The product in the tank is lithium. Pyroxene concentrate can be sold as a chemical grade product. In order to reduce the iron content in the lithium concentrate, the above concentrate needs to be further selected. For this purpose, hydrofluoric acid, resinate and foaming agent flotation iron mineral are added, and the obtained lithium concentrate can be sold as a ceramic industrial raw material. . The foam concentrate obtained by flotation of gangue minerals can be further subjected to separation flotation to obtain mica concentrate, feldspar concentrate and quartz concentrate. The reverse flotation process used by the Jinsishan Concentrator in the 1950s is shown in Figure 1. At that time, the ore grade was about 1.5% Li 2 O, the lithium concentrate contained Li 2 O higher than 6%, the recovery rate was 70% to 75%, the total drug consumption was 2.5 to 3 kg/ton, and the plant selection scale was 360 tons/day.

    Second, Jinsishan positive flotation process

    In 1976, North Carolina State University conducted a research on the positive flotation process of the Jinsishan spodumene ore. Through the semi-industrial test, the satisfactory index was obtained: the spodumene concentrate grade was 6.3% Li 2 O, and the operation was recovered. The rate (excluding slime) was 94.5%, and the recovery rate of raw ore was 88.4%. Since then, the process has been adopted by the US Lithium Company of the Jinsishan Mining Area and the concentrator of the Ford Mineral Company. The processing capacity of the two plants is 2,400 tons / day and 2,600 tons / day, respectively, 480 tons and 530 tons of daily production of spodumene concentrate, 1300 tons / day of feldspar, 750 tons / day of quartz and 100 tons / day of mica . The lithium concentrate grade of the plant is 6.3% Li 2 O, the recovery rate is 75% to 78%, and the drug consumption is slightly more than 1 kg/ton. The production process is shown in Figure 2.
