On August 24, Dongfeng Industrial Corporation and Cummins (China) Corporation signed an agreement in Wuhan to establish a joint venture company, Dongfeng Cummins Emissions Processing System, to build the Dongfeng Cummins Emissions Treatment System project. The site of the project is located at No. 1, Dongyi Avenue, Maojian District, Shiyan City. The first phase of the project will invest 150 million yuan. It is planned to start construction in October this year and put into operation in March next year. It is designed to produce 180,000 sets of various types of emission treatment system devices, mainly supplying Dongfeng. All Cummins models and Dongfeng commercial vehicles 4H, dCi11, X7 engine models. It is understood that the annual sales income of the project can reach 500 million U.S. dollars.
