According to Yi Jun, Deputy Director of Sichuan Investment Promotion Bureau, FAW Group will invest 1 billion in Sichuan Xindu, and produce 100,000 Liberated heavy truck trucks (phase 1) annually. It is planned to start construction in January next year, and the year will be fully completed. The output value is about 15 billion yuan.
According to reports, in addition to FAW Group’s investment of 1 billion yuan in Chengdu’s annual production capacity of 100,000 light-heavy-duty trucks, Chongqing Haite Group invested RMB 2.5 billion in Suining to build an annual production capacity of 150,000 commercial vehicle production line projects. The output value is nearly 20 billion yuan. At the same time, in addition to vehicle manufacturing projects, it also includes auto parts manufacturing projects as well as Auto Expo City and professional trading market projects. “These projects will realize the interaction of the secondary and tertiary industries in the industry chain and will inject new vitality into the development of the province’s automobile industry.†Yi Jun said.
