Electric heating installation instructions
I. Preparation before construction
1, piping system
(1) The pipeline system and equipment have been completed;
(2) The rust-proof and anti-corrosion coating has been dried;
(3) Remove all burrs and horns.
2, electric heating and accessories
(1) Check whether the surface of the heating cable is damaged during transportation;
(2) Whether the insulation performance is good (use 1000VDC shake table test, insulation resistance ≥ 20MΩ);
(3) The model and design requirements of the electric heating cable and all accessories are the same.
Second, electric heating tropical construction methods
1, with glass fiber pressure-sensitive adhesive tape every 30 ~ 50cm, the electric heating cable is fixed on the pipe.
2. At the first power supply point and the tail end of the line, reserve at least 1m long electric heating cable (for wiring).
3. According to the design plan, the electric heating cable is laid or wrapped. After the installation is complete, use aluminum tape along the heating cable and close to the pipe or tank.
4. All radiators should be set according to the design requirements for the required length of the heating cable, and should pay attention to the following points:
※ The radiator should have the length of the electrical heating cable required for the design.
※ Electric heating cables can be used to overlap or cross each other.
※ As far as possible, the winding method should be such that the heat sink can be removed at any time for maintenance or replacement without damaging the heating cable or affecting other circuits.
Third, electric heating accessories installation
※ Select accessories according to design requirements.
※ The sealing ring used must be matched with the electric heating cable and combined with waterproof sealing glue and explosion-proof cement.
※ The power supply junction box is as close as possible to the power supply end of the pipeline circuit.
※ Prepare the line according to the accessories installation instructions.
Fourth, insulation installation
After the heating cable construction test, install the insulation layer immediately, and pay attention to the following points:
※ The materials, thickness and specifications of the insulation layer used are in accordance with the requirements of the design drawings.
※ The insulation material must be dry during construction.
※ During the construction of insulation layer, damage to the heating cable should be avoided.
※ After the construction of insulation layer, insulation test should be conducted immediately on the heating cable.
※ In the insulation layer plus warning labels, indicate the words "with electricity inside with tropical" and other words, but also need to indicate the location of all accessories.
V. Precautions
※ When installing in the heating cable, the insulating layer must be severely damaged and must be adhered to the heated body to improve the thermal efficiency.
※When one end of the cable is connected to the power supply, the other end of the cable must not be short-circuited or contacted with a different substance and cut into a “V†type. It must be tightly sealed with a matching head.
※ Explosion-proof junction boxes and terminals shall be provided for wet occasions.
※ Use silicone rubber seal after wiring (the shielding layer must be peeled off 10cm to avoid short circuit).
※ Select the leakage protection device, etc. according to the parameters such as voltage, current, and other parameters of the electric heat tracing circuit.
