At the Beijing International Wind Energy Conference and Exhibition held from October 18th to 21st, Henkel's General Industrial Adhesives Group introduced a new solution for accelerating the adhesion of fan blades, the new polyurethane adhesive Macroplast UK 1340.
This product can increase the curing speed and increase the blade production efficiency. The reaction rate is much higher than the currently used epoxy adhesives, and the resulting heat generation is less, greatly reducing the curing time and temperature. It is particularly important that the product meets the mechanical strength requirements for the fan blade bonding.
This product meets all the key parameters stipulated by Germanischer Lloyd (GL) and becomes the world's first GL-certified polyurethane adhesive.
