The exploration area of ​​the Shiyan deposit in the Zhangxing section of the Huai'an salt mining area is 5.01 square kilometers. There are six exploration wells, one hydrological observation hole, and a drilling engineering volume of 12,486.81 meters. The total ore volume of the exploration area is 755.486 million tons, equivalent to NaCl. The amount of 43.836 million tons and the amount of Na2SO4 were 329.93 million tons. The industrial salt group has an average thickness of 817.3 meters and an average NaCl grade of 57.15%. The salt ore body is buried deep and has a large thickness. It is a large-scale salt deposit, and the exploration type of the deposit belongs to Category II.
