According to Marine Exhaust Systems, the company's goal is to solve space constraints with its new Silent Sprayer Series 4 ultra-thin wall-packed generator muffler.
The company can now design a muffler for power up to 35 kW with a width of 12 inches, a height of 17 inches and a thickness of 4 inches. Due to its compact, low profile size, it is suitable for any marine use and can be mounted on the side of the hull, in the bulkhead or in the recess of the generator body.
According to the manufacturer, although its size is small, it does not reduce its silencing ability. In the case of engine exhaust, normal conversations can be easily heard. The silencer does not vibrate due to the rubber mounting.
It is reported that the silent series 4 series ultra-thin wall package generator muffler is made of biaxial flame retardant Hetron FR 998 epoxy vinyl ester resin alkali-free glass fiber (e-glass). All hose connections are fitted with a 316L stainless steel crush-resistant ring.
