JCB selected Michelin Power CL as the original tire on its latest 2CX, 3CX and 4CX backhoe loaders. Following the Michelin original radial tire XMCL, Power CL became another Michelin original tire product.
JCB conducted a comprehensive test of tires at its global headquarters in Roster, UK. The tires needed to deal with severe road and off-road conditions during testing. After a series of rigorous tests, the Michelin Power CL stood out and was eventually selected by the JCB as the original tire.
Michelin Power CL is a cross-ply engineering and agricultural tire that is specifically designed for backhoe loaders, small wheel loaders and telehandlers.
This tire uses a scratch-resistant tread design with a solid and dense central lug pattern that reduces the chance of the tire being punctured. In addition, its rubber formula also greatly reduces the tire's tearing under harsh road conditions.
Thanks to the type and number of cord designs, the cross protection layer of Michelin Power CL further enhances the puncture resistance and impact resistance of the tyre.
The angle of intersection of the linoleum layers ensures extremely high sidewall hardness, which guarantees excellent stability of the machine in both vertical and horizontal directions. This is crucial for telescopic handlers that require maximum extension of the arm during working conditions. . The hard sidewalls also provide excellent protection for the tire sidewall.
