It is reported that the authorized production of the engine includes 1.6T (CE16) with a maximum power of 150kW and 1.8T (CE18, which is expected to be put into operation next year) with a maximum power of 170kW, and will add 1.2T products in the future. The engine is a derivative product developed on the basis of the BMW Prince engine. It is expected to be installed on the mid- to high-end models of Brilliance Automotive's future, and can also be sold to third-party companies.
According to the manufacturer, this engine-related parts will be produced in Shenyang and Mianyang, and will be assembled in the production line of the N20 engine of the Xinchen Power Mianyang plant.
