On October 23, Nissan Motor announced that it has recalled more than 188,000 brake-disabled SUVs worldwide, from 2013 to 2014, covering markets such as the US, China and Japan.
Nissan said it is recalling a total of 188,302 SUVs worldwide, most of which are concentrated in the United States, with approximately 151,695 vehicles. Another 36,607 vehicles were recalled in China, Canada, Russia, Mexico and other countries.
The models involved in Nissan's global recall include:
1. From 2013 to 2014, Nissan Pathfinder will be produced between April 18, 2012 and September 20, 2013.
2. The 2013 Infiniti JX35, produced between September 15, 2011 and January 16, 2013.
3. In 2014, the Infiniti QX60, after the change of the naming system for Infiniti, replaced the new model of the JX35, which was produced between January 17, 2013 and September 20, 2013.
It is expected that in the next few days, China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine will announce the specific models and quantities of vehicles recalled in China.
