China Drying Newsletter The PTA new pressure filtration technology development and industrial application project jointly completed by Shanghai Engineering Co., Ltd. in collaboration with Shanghai Petrochemical, Tianhua Chemical Machinery and Automated Research and Design Institute recently passed the technical review of Sinopec. The complete set of equipment developed in this project has been tested in the industrialized application of Shanghai Petrochemical's 400,000-ton/year PTA plant. Based on the experimental study of PTA continuous multi-chamber pressure filtration and PTA pressure filtration system process flow, this project focuses on technical innovations such as central control joints, unloading mechanisms, sealing structures, unit room divisions, and filter seat forms. In addition, the integrated positioning and sealing of the bearing and the overall machining technology, as well as the new type of isolation and sealing material, have been used to develop a filter-washing-pre- drying integrated pressure filter complete set that meets the requirements of PTA solid-liquid separation.
