Significance: Glass bottles containing reagents.
Color: colorless, brown; variety: wide mouth, fine mouth; grinding mouth, no grinding mouth and so on.
The jar is used to hold solid reagents, the fine bottle is filled with liquid reagents; the brown bottle is used for protection from light, and the stopper bottle can prevent moisture absorption and concentration change of the reagent. The reagent bottle is not heat resistant. The bottle mouth with a drip tube is called a drop bottle.
The bottles used for chemical reagents are divided into glass and plastic according to the material. They can be divided into wide-mouth bottles and fine-mouth bottles according to their size. They can be divided into solid and liquid reagent bottles according to the contents, and the jars contain solids. The mouth bottle holds the liquid. The inside of the bottle mouth is frosted and kept sealed to prevent leakage of reagents.
Most of the laboratories in the world use reagent bottles produced by German companies because their covers are made of blue plastic, also known as blue cap reagent bottles.
