Recently, the Weichai North America Company organized a delegation to participate in the largest truck show in the United States, officially recommending Weichai natural gas engines and powertrains to the North American market. The show is held in Louisville, a central US city, once every two years.
In this exhibition, Weichai North America focused on displaying the new 10L gas engine that meets US emission requirements. It is understood that this model is based on Weichai's body machine and is oriented to the North American market. Engineers from Weichai North America R&D Center have performed redevelopment of performance and emissions in accordance with local emission regulations.
At the same time, the corresponding powertrain of the gas engine and the MACK brand trucks supporting the model were exhibited together. The 13L and 7L gas engines from China and Fast's latest gearboxes also made appearances at the show.
In order to recommend the Weichai natural gas engine, the North American company also invited Bogwana, Woodward, and Tenneco, both well-known natural gas engines and aftertreatment suppliers in the United States, to jointly recommend it throughout the process, fully embodying the "internationalization + U.S. research and development , local assembly, local service" concept.
In order to better communicate with customers, the North American company also invited potential customers to conduct one-on-one recommendation exchanges. Among them, eight OEMs and four terminal truck customers invited delegations to visit the exhibition.
