Under the terms of the agreement, Yuchai Marine Power Co., Ltd. will be able to manufacture and sell all product lines of MDT's two-stroke engines. At the beginning of the cooperation, Yuchai Shipbuilding will focus on the production of low-speed marine engines below the MAN B&W 800mm bore.
It is reported that MAN low-speed machine is the world's leading technology and market diesel engine products. At present, MAN low-speed machine has a global market share of over 80%. The signing of this patent technology agreement between Yuchai Ship and MDT means that it can participate in the market competition more broadly and is extremely beneficial to the company to obtain product orders.
