Harvey firefighters responded to a second-alarm house fire at 192 E. 157th Street yesterday afternoon (January 22, 2015). The incident was captured by photographers Josh Boyajian and Tim Olk, who provided detailed accounts of the scene.
From Josh Boyajian:
"Yesterday, we arrived at the Harvey Fire on 192 E. 157th Street. We had just come from Merrionette Park, so it took us a little while to get there. When we arrived, Harvey was already on the first floor dealing with heavy flames coming from the second level. The structure's layout made it difficult for crews to fully knock down the fire, but they managed to prevent it from spreading to the neighboring home to the east. Here are some of my photos."
