Based out of the company’s San Francisco headquarters, Keene will oversee all global legal affairs for the company, providing strategic counsel to both the CEO and the Board of Directors. Additionally, she will be leading the charge on government affairs and public policy initiatives for Autodesk.
Ruth Ann Keene brings nearly three decades of experience in the technology and legal sectors. Her career includes an impressive 11-year stint at Autodesk, where she first honed her skills, followed by her tenure as Chief Legal Officer at Unity Technologies. During her time in these roles, she provided critical legal advice on issues such as intellectual property, data privacy, and mergers and acquisitions—areas crucial to business transformation. Prior to joining Unity, Keene worked at Morrison & Foerster, LLP, where she specialized in technology transactions, offering legal guidance to various tech companies.
