Calculation of the Main Window Size of Six-head Hydraulic Press

    When designing the main body of the six-faced hydraulic press, determining the structural dimensions requires not only the calculation of the mechanical strength of the relevant components, but also the calculation of the dimensions of the internal space formed after the articulation of the six groups of hinged beams, which can be referred to as the size of the window. Calculate.

    The size of the window must first ensure the normal dismantling and installation space for large accessories such as pads and jackets. A reasonable window size can make the mainframe compact and increase the rigidity and stability of the entire structure.

    There are two types of configurations for the main window of the six-head hydraulic press. The size of the window can be calculated by the following formula. Practice has proved that this formula is convenient, concise and reliable.

    1. The size of the window formed by the adjacent three hinged beam tabs.

    AB=(LB)√2/2-RD1=AB/cos30°

    In the formula:

    AB: Edge length of the equilateral triangle D1: Diameter of the circumscribed circle L: Center distance of the hinge piece of the hinge

    B: Total Thickness of Hinge Beam Triple Head Set R: Radius of Hinge Beam Ear

    2. The dimensions of the windows formed by the arcuate end faces of the adjacent 3 groups of hinge beam components (eg cylinders, guide sleeves, pistons, etc.).

    CD=(√2×l-φ)/2D2=CD/cos30°

    In the formula:

    CD: Edge length of the equilateral triangle D2: Diameter of the circumscribed circle l: Distance between the opposing circular arc end faces of the host computer

    φ: The total thickness of the hinged lugs

    Practice has proved that it is a proper design to make the diameter of the smallest equilateral triangle circumscribed circle formed by the windows of the host be not less than 300 mm.
