China's August fuel oil imports fell 8% to 1.7 million tons

    According to estimates by China Info Portal Shihwang Energy on Wednesday, China's fuel oil imports fell 8% to 1.7 million tons in August from July. However, imports in August increased by 5% over the same period of last year.

    In August, China's straight-run fuel oil (M100) imported from Russia increased by 54% from July to 370,000 tons, while fuel oil imported from Venezuela was unchanged from the previous month at 290,000 tons.
