However, the current LED backlight components with higher penetration rate will decrease with the increase of technology, and the demand growth will be limited. As for LED lighting components, it is the main field to promote the growth of Chinese packaging manufacturers. In 2013, the market share exceeded 40%, making it the largest demand in China's packaging market.
Analyst Yu Bin said that Hongli, Changfang Lighting, Mulinsen and other LED lighting components as the main business of the manufacturers, 2013 LED lighting components business performance growth is obvious, of which Hongli Optoelectronics revenue growth in 2013 39; rectangular lighting growth 41; Ruifeng Optoelectronics, which is mainly based on medium and large-size backlights, has an annual revenue growth of 93 for LED lighting components business; and Jufei Optoelectronics, which is mainly based on small-size backlights, has an annual revenue growth of 84.
On the other hand, the rapid development of the upstream chip industry is the strong backing of the rapid rise of Chinese packaging manufacturers. The advantage of the world's largest manufacturing base will provide a strong product estuary for China's downstream lighting industry. In the first half of 2014, the capacity utilization rate of Sanan Optoelectronics, Huacan Optoelectronics, Tongfang Optoelectronics and other manufacturers basically reached 100, and Dehao Runda also improved. It is expected that the remaining machines will be put into production in the second half of the year. In the next few years, China's chip makers such as Sanan Optoelectronics and Huacan Optoelectronics will continue to expand production. Among them, Sanan plans to introduce 200 more MOCVD machines by 2018. The expansion capacity will mainly focus on lighting applications.
