According to the news from China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, the world’s largest submersible manned submersible, “7000m Manned Submersibleâ€, recently developed by CSIC 702, was held at the China Millennium Monument in Beijing. The debut of the research and development 15 years of results exhibition made it a major attraction of this exhibition.
Deep sea high-tech is the forefront and commanding height of marine development and marine technology development.
It is also one of the current directions for the development of high-tech in the world. During the "10th Five-Year Plan" period, the "7000m manned submersible" was listed as a major special project of the National 863 Program. The “7000-meter manned submersible†developed by the institute uses the most advanced high-tech in the world to realize the integration of carrier performance and operation requirements, and has 7000 meters compared with the existing manned submersibles in the world. The maximum working depth and hovering positioning capability can reach 99.8% of the world's ocean floor.
At present, there are a total of five manned submersibles available in the world, namely Japan’s “Deep Sea 6500â€, the United States’ “Alvinâ€, the French “Nautilusâ€, the Russian “Peace†and “ The Mister, their maximum deep dive depth is only 6,500 meters, and they need to find a fixed fulcrum to start work. The “7000m Manned Submersible†has deeper dive ability and stable underwater hovering positioning ability for the working target, which is a major technological advancement in the world of manned submersibles.
In addition, the "7000-meter manned submersible" also has advanced underwater acoustic communication and submarine micro-topography detection, high-speed transmission of images and voice and the ability to detect small targets on the seabed. The spherical shell of the manned part is made of titanium alloy, which is equipped with a life support system and two sets of oxygen supply systems, in order to be foolproof. The manned submersible will be mainly used in deep sea resource exploration, hydrothermal sulphide investigation, deep sea biological genes, deep sea geological survey and other fields.
At present, the "7000-meter manned submersible" manned submersible has entered the final assembly stage and is expected to dive into the water next year.
