The principle of determining the parameters of CNC milling processing

    In NC programming, the programmer must determine the amount of cutting for each process and write it into the program in the form of instructions. The cutting amount includes the spindle speed, the back knife amount and the feed speed. For different processing methods, different cutting amounts need to be selected. The selection principle of the cutting amount is: to ensure the accuracy and surface roughness of the part, give full play to the cutting performance of the tool, ensure a reasonable tool durability and give full play to the performance of the machine tool, maximize the productivity and reduce the cost.
    (1) Determination of spindle speed The spindle speed should be selected based on the allowable cutting speed and the diameter of the workpiece (or tool). Its calculation formula is:

    n=1000v/(Ï€D)

    Calculated spindle speed n Finally, according to the machine manual, select the machine's own or closer speed.

    (2) Determination of feed rate The feed rate F is an important parameter in the cutting amount of CNC machine tools. It is mainly selected based on the machining accuracy and surface roughness requirements of the parts and the material properties of the tools and workpieces. The maximum feed rate is limited by the stiffness of the machine and the performance of the feed system. In profile machining, the amount of feed should be reduced near the corners to overcome “overtravel” or “underrange” phenomena at the corners of the profile due to inertia or deformation of the process system.

    Determine the principle of feedrate:

    (1) When the quality requirements of the workpiece can be ensured, a higher feed rate can be selected to increase the production efficiency. Generally within the range of 100~200mm/min. 2) When cutting, processing deep holes or machining with high-speed steel tools, a lower feed rate should be selected, generally within the range of 20~50mm/min. 3) When the machining accuracy and surface roughness are high, the feed speed should be chosen smaller, generally within the range of 20~50mm/min. 4) When the tool is idle, especially when it is “return to zero” at a long distance, the highest feedrate given by the CNC system can be selected.

    (3) The amount of back-side knife is determined by the amount of back-side knife (ap) determined by the stiffness of the machine tool, workpiece and tool. Under the condition of permissible rigidity, the amount of back-side knife should be equal to the machining allowance of the workpiece as much as possible. Reduce the number of passes and increase production efficiency. In order to ensure the quality of the machining surface, 0.2~0.5mm finishing allowance can be left.

    Slip-on Weld Flange

    Flat welding flange refers to a kind of flange connected with vessel or pipeline by fillet weld. It belongs to any flange. According to the integrity of the connection between the flange ring and the straight cylinder section, the design shall be checked according to the integral or loose flange respectively. There are two kinds of flange rings with neck and without neck. Compared with the neck butt welding flange, the flat welding flange has simple structure and saves materials, but its stiffness and tightness are not as good as the neck butt welding flange. Flat welding flange is widely used in the connection of medium and low pressure vessels and pipelines.
