Bunting's Custom-Built Towable Electromagnetic Sweepers for an Indonesian Airport
These sweepers are designed for seamless integration with vehicles, attaching easily to the back of utility trucks or SUVs. Equipped with robust dual wheels and a user-friendly tow hitch, they provide stable movement while being towed. Once attached, the sweeper glides over the surface, lifting ferrous materials effortlessly onto its magnetic face. Inside the driver's cabin, operators can conveniently toggle the magnet on or off, allowing for the immediate discharge of collected debris.
Designed for rugged outdoor environments, these sweepers operate optimally at speeds between 5 to 6 miles per hour. They come in multiple widths, starting from 1200mm up to 2440mm, offering flexibility based on the user's specific requirements. For instance, the set of three sweepers installed at an Indonesian airport features a width of 2440mm each, weighing around 1500 kilograms. Each sweeper uses a 220VAC generator powered by a reliable Honda gasoline engine housed inside a protective casing. The system includes a push-button start-stop feature with automatic reverse capability, ensuring smooth operation. Additionally, a revolving beacon atop the control unit signals the active state of the magnet visually.
