The 20,000-ton/year-to-diethylbenzene (PDEB) PX demonstration unit and the syngas-based ethylene glycol pilot plant currently under construction by Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Company are scientific research and development projects of Sinopec Group Company. After the project is completed, it will form Sinopec's proprietary aromatic hydrocarbon technology to avoid the route of using ethylene glycol to reduce investment costs and production costs.
