A call to help FDNY firefighters that have lost their homes

Helping Our Own – Supporting 1,000 FDNY Families Affected by Hurricane Sandy

Our brothers and sisters in the FDNY are facing a difficult time, and they need our support. Since 9/11, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation has worked closely with the FDNY’s Counseling Services Unit and retired firefighters who offer peer support. Now, these counselors are helping firefighters and other department members cope with the damage caused by Hurricane Sandy, and we need your help to make a difference.

Below is a list of essential items that can help ease the burden for FDNY families in the coming days and weeks. This list may be updated as needs change. If you're able to contribute, please follow the instructions below so that NFFF and the Counseling Services Unit can ensure your donation reaches those in greatest need.
