From the Huade County Government of Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the first small-scale test prototype of a 50-kilowatt vertical-axis wind turbine with complete independent intellectual property rights was installed and commissioned. It was settled in Huade County and was actually tested.
This prototype was led by the State Council Three Gorges Office to organize the development of more than 10 units including the Chinese Academy of Mechanical Sciences, Harbin Engineering University, Harbin Electric Machinery Group and Huade County Government. The vertical axis fan has three characteristics: the main equipment is on the ground, and the maintenance and repair is simple; any wind direction can generate electricity, and no wind device is needed; the fan blades are relatively simple, easy to manufacture, and the production cost is low.
