On August 12th, a polyethylene anti-corrosion special material for coated pipes independently developed by Dushanzi Petrochemical was used successfully in a domestic 3PE (three-layer structural polyethylene anti-corrosion technology) pipeline production enterprise. Anticorrosion performance indicators meet the national standard requirements. The product has passed the special material performance test of China Petroleum Anti-corrosion & Thermal Insulation Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Center.
It is understood that this special material uses chromium-based polyethylene as the base material, and optimizes the polymerization catalyst, comonomer and reaction temperature to improve the mechanical properties and processing performance of the product. At the same time, after adding a unique antioxidant system, the products produced have outstanding mechanical properties, resistance to photothermal aging, and resistance to environmental stress cracking. The product was tested and applied in many domestic anti-corrosion products companies. Through product testing and targeted performance adjustment and process optimization, the goal of stable production and processing performance, excellent mechanical properties of finished products, and smooth appearance of finished products was finally achieved.
