The Academy of Geological Sciences has developed a new method for gold mining and smelting

    Chinese Academy of Geological gold heap leaching gold center developed a new method of treatment selected from - Pellet oxidation roasting. This method combines the advantages of calcination oxidation and pressure oxidation to eliminate their respective disadvantages. The roasting oxidation method has the advantages of mature technical equipment, low investment, low operating cost and strong adaptability, and solves the problem of environmental pollution.
    The project has completed laboratory testing. The sulfur- arsenic fixation rate of the experimental sample is greater than 99.98%, and the gold leaching rate of the calcine is 10%-20% higher than that of the conventional calcination oxidation method and the sulfur-fixing arsenic roasting oxidation method.
    The biggest difference between the pellet coating roasting oxidation method and the pellet calcination oxidation method is that the former pellet is divided into two parts, the inner core and the outer core. The inner core is a mixture of mineral powder and binder, and there is a layer of continuous covering on the outside of the core. A coating layer (called a coating layer) consisting of a sulfur-arsenic fixative of a certain thickness. The presence of the coating layer ensures that the gas generated when the sulfur arsenide is oxidized inside the pellet is captured by the fixing agent when it is diffused to the outside, and the sulfur arsenic is completely fixed.
    The process of the pellet coating roasting oxidation method includes the steps of raw material preparation, compounding, mixing granulation, pellet coating, coating sphere drying, roasting, roasting ball de-coating and cyanidation gold extraction. The process is simple, the operation cost is low, the equipment investment is small, the roasting flue gas does not need any purification facilities, and the sewage discharge can be directly realized, and the sulfur dioxide and the arsenic trioxide purification and recovery equipment are omitted. In addition, binders and fixatives have a wide range of sources, low prices and no major technical equipment problems, and are suitable pretreatment methods for sulfur-containing arsenic-type refractory gold ore.
