The Donghai Bridge Offshore Wind Power Demonstration Project is China's first large-scale offshore wind power project approved in May 2008. It is located on the left side of the Donghai Bridge in the southeastern part of Shanghai. The northernmost point is nearly 6 kilometers from the coastline, and the southernmost point is 13 kilometers from the shoreline. The average water depth is 10 meters and the average wind speed is 8.4 meters per second. The total installed capacity of the project is 102MW. All of them are domestically produced 3MW offshore wind turbine units independently developed by Sinovel Wind Science and Technology Co., Ltd., with a total of 34 sets. The hub height is 90 meters and the diameter of the impeller is 90 meters. It is the largest domestic offshore wind turbine unit with the highest single power at present. , Adopt three-blade, horizontal axis structure and advanced variable-speed variable-speed double-fed generator technology, equipped with compact main drive chain, high-performance power generation system, independently controlled pitch system and online condition monitoring system, with low voltage ride through Functionality, and the use of effective anti-corrosion measures and redundant design to improve the reliability of the unit. Before the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, the Donghai Bridge offshore wind farm wind turbine will be put into operation.
