A means of cargo information, as a tool for ship traffic management services, etc., provides concise safety information such as static, dynamic, and navigational related to the ship, and timely and automatic updating according to the type of information and data.
The company will carry out automatic identification system installation and reconstruction on 9 domestic vessels of 5 coastal tankers such as Cuizhou and Daqing 419 and 4 special vessels of Sushun and Ninghua 405 before April 30 this year.
On March 3, the company installed AIS for the first time on the Cuizhou wheel of the ship repairing at Zijinshan Shipyard, and connected radar, compass, GPS and Other navigation equipment to AIS, and imported ship data such as call sign, type and size of the ship into AIS. On March 11, after debugging, the static data showed normal.
On March 12, the ship left the shipyard and headed for Ningbo. According to the requirements of the AIS specification, the crew of the ship manually input the navigation-related parameters such as the draught of the ship, the port of destination and the estimated arrival time to the AIS before sailing. On March 14, the round was imported into AIS at the Lushan Wharf in Ningbo, and the data on the type of crude oil and the draught of the ship were imported. On March 17, the round arrived safely in Nanjing. After the trial of one round trip voyage of the round, all parameters are displayed and sent normally. The captain of the ship said that after the installation of the AIS, the ship will make the contact of the ship more convenient. Within 50 nautical miles, the navigation data of the other ship's course, speed, destination port, and type of cargo carried can be seen at a glance, so that both sides of the ship It will make the intention clearer, improve the safety of the ship's navigation, and facilitate the management and connection of the VTS.
The success of the installation of the AIS system in this round has accumulated experience for the installation and commissioning of the company's subsequent eight coastal vessels AIS.
